You have a lot going on there.possibly the lighting control module but only a guess without further diagnosis. Take it to a reputable garage that deals with electric concerns a lot..but they may tell you to bring to deal

SOURCE: door open light &dome light stay on

Hello, Friend

I had a friend that had the same issue. I had the same issue with my 99 Bonneville the outside door handle and the door latch itself where sticking because of dirt or some other substance. I kept my car very clean and I also cleaned the door jambs after every wash, but still there was a sticking in the latch and handle.

I could be driving down the road and the lights would be on. and I would open the window (with the doors locked and flick the outside handle and the interior lights would turn off. then I knew it was the outside handle that had a censor that was sticking. Why does the out side handle even have a censor? Good question. It seems the more sophisticated our cars become the more probability of issues from the littlest things.

Thank you

SOURCE: 1998 escort zx2 dome light stays on when switch is set for door.

It should stay on for about 30 seconds and go off. Otherwise, the car is 11 years old, so find a switch position which does not drain the battery.

I need to find the flasher relay for a grand marquis 2001 .does it has one? My turn signals wont work I can hear the sound but don't even flash

Yes, it does have a flasher, although it may be a combined unit with the hazard flashers relay. So you hear the clicking of the flasher relay? That seems to indicate the relay is working properly. Have you checked the bulbs and the turn signal fuse? Any turn signal bulbs light up anywhere, front or back?
How about your brake lights, do they work? Your car may have separate, stand alone turn signals in the rear, but many American cars use the same bulb and same filament on the bulb for the brake lights and turn signals. If your merc is like this and the brake lights work, then the bulb must be good.
Turn on the hazard flashers and see if all bulbs work and flash at each corner of the car. This would be the same bulb as for the turn signals. If they work, it could be a bad turn signal switch, may even be the flasher relay somehow malfunctioning, and in a few cases, a bad hazard switch can affect the turn signal switch. Check fuses and bulbs first. If you have any type of body control module that controls lights and other accessories, you may have to investigate that. I know I'm not being very helpful, just throwing out a few suggestions. Good luck.

Tail lights, parking lights and dashboard lights on 2004 grand marquis are inoperative. Headlights, turn-signal lights, brake lights, hazard lights, back-up lights all work

Tail lights, parking lights and dash lights are all on the same circuit...I'd go to the fuse panel under the dash and check the fuse for those lights....usually referred to as accessory lighting in the owners manual and is usually a 10A fuse.

Hope this helps...

I have a 1977 Mercury Grand Marquis the turn signals, brake lights, and turning lights do not work. The running lights and hazard lights do work. I checked the bulbs and the relay can for the turn signals...

Turn signal switch (also brake light canceling switch) most likely bad or bad wire to it or from it. Check, with key on run, for power into switch. Turn switch on, check for power out. No power out switch bad. Power out, trace to rear tailight harness for broken wire.

Stop and TS problem

there is a flasher
.the hazard is wired to constant power so it works with the ignition off.
the turn signal works off of a switched power,to the turn switch and either the right or left turn signal.
if a bulb burns out,the light stays on steady

1994 grand marquis; taillights not working; brake, hazrd work

It will either be a broken wire under the rear of your car where gravel sones hit a lot, or bad bulbs. Yes, they are the same bulb for tail lights as brake and hazard and signal, but they have 2 filaments. One is for the tail lights, the other for the rest. A test light is the simplest way to check it all out.

No turn signals or brake lights

try turning the hazards on and off several times these switches go bad and will keep the lights from coming on
