I have a 04 VOLVO s40. My son ran over something and busted the oil pan.Now the engine won't turn over.

You have destroyed the engine due to no oil, big dollar repair. Turn it in to the insurance company is best bet if you have comprehensive that is.

Ran out of engine oil and after i refilled, it wont start

I the engine ran completely out of oil, the engine has been cooked and is probably locked up from the friction between unlubricated metal moving parts. Also may have spun bearings which means the main or rod bearings stacked on top of each other causing the engine to lockup. If you ran the engine without oil until it quit you will probably need a new engine.

Volvo has been overheating put coolant in but it drains somewhere no leaks are visible now car wont start

This is NOT a good thing...Better check you engine oil. When engine coolant disappears without any signs of it leaking on the ground, it is usually because it is leaking into the crankcase via a blown head gasket, blown intake manifold gasket, or cracked cylinder head. If your engine oil looks milky, like a chocolate milk shake, it is time for major engine repair or replacement.

Oil leak around timing belt area

Oil leak can be attributed to several factors.
1. Gasket failure.
2. Uncontrolled Crank case pressure Failure.

RECOMENDATION:
Tighten both the valve cover and oil pan bolts.
Replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve and vacuum line.,

INFO: PCV
This is a valve causes a negative vacuum on the engine while its running, As to say if it had a leak in a valve cover it should not be leaking while its running, only when the engine it turned off.

Hope this tip guides you in the correct direction to solve this problem.

Nissan Sentra "Service Engine Soon" and uncontrolable shaking.

I had the same problem. It was the intake gasket, very common in this model. A $12.00 gasket - Nissan wanted $1000.00 to install it. I got it done for $327.00 - engine light still remains on but car drives just fine.
