HOW TO ADJUST 6G74 IDLING - 1992 Mitsubishi Montero

6g74 galant needs help car running rough and stalling at times

Could be any Ian, Electrical, fuel, or mechanical. Need the codes. The engine light must be on... If not suspect the engine computer.

Have you tested the ignition module?

cheap fix by replacing the Ignition failure sensor.
It is found in the center of the top of the intake manifold, just in front of the loom plugs for the injectors.

the fuel pump is electrical high pressure pump and is located either next to the fuel tank or inside the fuel tank depending on the exact model the pump is cylindrical and if outside the tank will have wiring connector running to it

maybe the trotle ecu. convert it to manual

try to replace the idling jet on your carborator and then just adjust it. you can replace that your self and put it bakc in all you have to do after you have replaced the jet. start your car and just adjust the idling your self. if that doesn't want to work clean your carborator. we have done both and my car idles.
