After a minor rear end bump on my Toyota Yaris 2007 hatchback, there is a great deal of moisture in the carpeting. Mechanic at dealer said that metal under tail light has shifted, and does not seal properly. I tried to remove tail light to seal it, but can't seem to find the way to remove the lense. Ideas?

The hit may have closed a body drain. If it did this then you would have rain water collecting until it spills over. Look in that area for a plugged or crushed drain hole. That may help. Otherwise you may have to take it to a body shop to have the dent pulled.

SOURCE: right brake light out 2004 Prius

Th other post is incorrect, the 2004 has LED brake lights that are part of the tail light assembly. you have to replace the whole assy. There are two screws that hold the assy in, they are both covered by white cable clips. The clips just pull off and then you can use a 10mm wrench to remove the nuts on the screws. My brake light stopped working and during the removal, the LEDs started working again, hopefully you will find the same situation as the LEDs are supposed to last for years.

SOURCE: how to change brake lights on my 2007 toyota yaris

on either side of the boot interior, there are what look like air vents. these clip out from the top (with a flat screwdriver) you then unbolt the light unit, pull it out. the bulb holder then unclips easily.

How to replace a front side marker bulb on a 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan

You don't need a dealer for much of anything

All of todays vehicles require removing the lamp
assembly or housings, front or rear, of any vehicle,to
take out the lamps/bulbs

If you open the hood you will find screws that hold it in place

May not be an easy job, but that's the junk were sold

I cannot seem to change my headlight bulb on the passenger side of my 2007 yaris hatchback. In the owners manual it sayds to puul out the rubber boot. I disconnected the cord going into the headlight but I...

I am not familar with your specific car but as you say already have the boot and connector already off, look at it and see if there is not some sort of wire retainer holding the bulb in place. If so, release it. The other possibility is the bulb retainer twists in to openings to secure the bulb. attempt to twist the bulb. It is difficult to see down there so get a small mirror and angle it to see what you are dealing with. Good luck
