Try the tps, throttle position sensor, and the idacv, idle air control valve. Even sometimes the temp sensor could be bad, telling the motor its cold when its really hot..

Check your fuel pressure, and or injectors. You may have too much fuel getting into the engine causing it to burn rich and overheat the converters.

Hi! You must be frustrated by now! your code is marking that the O2 sensor is bad in bank 1. Did you replace the O2 sensor that is located  before the catalytic converter?  The S10 has an O2 sensor specially made for that cat. its about 30$ That would explain for your blackened spark plugs; your pc on the car is asking for more fuel. GOOD LUCK!!

See if there is a code in the computer and work from there. Find someone with an OBD2 code reader. If I'm not mistaken an OBD2 code reader works on 1996 and newer models. Could be a bad coil and you don't notice it when you first start it until it idles down, to check for that, while the engine is running, pull each wire off the spark plug, Each time you do that you should hear the engine struggle. Then pick back up once you plug it back to the spark plug. If you pull one and nothing happens to the engine, that could be all or part of the problem. Hope this helps.

1999 chevy lumina rough idea after warm up

It could be several different things causing this, my first guess would be to look at the EGR port going into the intake. Most times it will clog up and can cause rough idling. You must know how to clean it properly, the EGR valve will have to be pulled as well as the throttle body in order to clean it properly. Also, check for vacuum leaks. It could be other things as well but this is where I would start. Hope this helps. Thanks, Allen with Morgan's Auto Repair 912-282-1602 Waycross, Ga.

Try running some fuel injector cleaner through your fuel tank. What you may have are a couple of plugged or missfiring fuel injectors. I would suggest checking all of your wiring to your injectors to insure good connection, replace your fuel filter and check for vacuum leaks.

Vehicle runs rough and seems to be flooded

Assuming it has a 3.1 V-6, it could be any # of failures. Bad plug wires, ignition coils, control module (under coil packs), crankshaft position sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor, egr valve, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, engine coolant temperature sensor, vacuum leaks; have it scanned for trouble codes to help in diagnosing! If you think it is just over fueling (flooding),look at fuel pressure regulator or coolant temp sensor ( when they fail the computer thinks its always -40 F causing it to over fuel). A bad map sensor can cause the same. Hope this helps. Thanks in advance for rating me!
