Based on what you've described so far, you are not familiar with the system you are trying to repair (not intended to insult you). Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

2001 Mitsubishi montero sport xls replaced crankshaft sensor still will not crank

Test fuel pressure at key on. Next test for spark to plugs. Use "noid" light to test for injector pulse.

Why is my 2001 hyundai tiburon not firing, it has brand new spark plugs & Wires, new ignition coil, what could it be?

a crank sensor will make you not get a signal to trigger the power for the coil so that may be the problem with it. If all else is ok, is the check engine light on to scan it for the crank sensor code.

I have a 2001 saturn sc2 manual i try to start the car but wont start it is trying to i was told it could be alarm code or crankshaft sensor

It could be crank position sensor, but that's just one of many possibilities.

Have you checked to ensure you have spark, fuel and compression?

Crank sensor

let vechicle sit for a while could be flooded fuel injectors leaking.when fuel injectors become dirty clogged they will leak when you turn off the engine.see if engine restart if its sits while.if car still dont crank check for spark.no spark could be faulty ignition module or crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensor.have vechicle code scan first before buying new parts.meant to say bad engine coolant temperature sensor will cause no start hot engine and clogged air filter.

2001 dodge stratus 2.7L wont start. Starter, battery, fuel pump is good. Help!

Do the basic tests. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse.
Any applicable trouble codes?

Wont start

Pull a spark plug and see if it is wet with fuel. If it is than I would suspect a bad crank sensor. Very common on hyundais's. I need to know what engine you have to post specifics. Most likely the crank sensor is located down by the crank pulley behind the timing cover on the four cylinders. The timing belt needs to be removed in order to replace the sensor.

Car starts intermintently

dear friend-the fact that the vehicle could be a sensor or idling control valve, not starting up right away could be that feul was injected with no ignition, bare in mind that when you crank the engine feul gets injected immediatly, should there be no spark present you got accesive feul that needs to evaporate before starting, thats why black smoke at startup

My 1994 dodge intrepid only starts when it is above 40 degrees

I had a very similar problem as most did on this stalling out, no start, and no spark on my 1994 Dodge Intrepid 3.3L V6. I was told to watch my Tachometer in the car to see if it moved at all while cranking the engine over. It did not move. So that told me the crankshaft sensor was not picking up any signal what so ever. I changed it. The engine immediately started. So I left the engine run for approx. 25 minutes then the engine died. I had again lost spark but had minor RPM on the tachometer during engine crank. I dug thru all the wiring harnesses and found that when I moved the connector to the Coil pack/Module the engine would start. I got the problem narrowed down to the connector but have not replaced it yet. I put a little slack in the harness the wires run in so the harness is not pulling on the connector. This has seemed to solve the problem for me. At least for now. [email protected]
