Last week, my car starts rattle at idle, with the CEL on. And it starts to flash some times. I read the code and got P0303 and P0325. I then replaced all four spark plug with "Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plug" and erase the code. Then the idle shaking was gone. However, when I try to accelerate to 30~40 mph, it starts to rattle again and failed to accelerate. The CEL come up immediately with the same codes. I then replaced the four spark plug wires with "Xact Spark Plug Wire Set". Now no lights comes up and no rattles. However, after running some time, the temperature gauge increases. Anyone knows what's the problem? Is it the spark plug? I know the gap should be 0.44. However, the spark plug (0.6) I got says no gapping needed.
Don't use the Bosch + 4 Get them out of there & use any brand you want, but the original tip configuration that came from the factory
Those & many other highly advertised plugs don't work with today's
ignition systems & cause problems
You have to gap your plugs to what it says under the hood on a white label,I know they say don't gap but if the application is
different you have too,common sense,gap has to match your vehicle specs
Your best to get repair shop help
You need a scanner on it & road test & look
at all data to find out what you have or what
needs attention.
SOURCE: codes p0171 p0303 p0325 car missing
p0171 = fuel system too lean, this means vacuum leak or faulty oxygen sensor
p0303 = cylinder 3 misfire
p0325 = knock sensor malfunction.
p0303 and p0325 - i can see these working together, if a cylinder misfires, it will cause the knock sensor to trip. I would lean towards the coil and or ignition module, along with a faulty oxygen sensor.
