It means that there is a problem with the transmission, this is usually accompanied by a shifting issue and is usually caused by a bad transmission solenoid. Take to a shop to have transmission codes checked to see what the problem is.

If you brought your car to Honda for service, they probably forgot to reset the maintenance reminder. If you took it to another shop, they probably did not know how to reset it. Anyway, the reset procedure is:

Put your key in the ignition
Turn the key to the II position for a couple of seconds
Then turn the key to the off position
Now push and hold in the odometer reset button
While still holding the odometer reset button, turn the key back to the II position
Hold for I think 10 seconds or so and your maintenance reminder light should reset it self.

SOURCE: 2004 Honda CRV Check Engine light

the check engine lamp is not affected by things like tyres, brakes etc. It shows that the vehicles engine management system had detected a fault with the engine or engine sensors. Check the engine for broken or disconnected wiring (maybe it was disconnected during the replacing of the hoses but not reconnected). If you fail to locate anything, check the manual for the correct fault code retrieval procedure or take the vehicle to a professional. Tyres may affect your ABS system or Airbag systems but they usually have their own warning lamp and are unrelated to the check engine lamp..

SOURCE: check engine light is on together with the vsc and

Hello. Many times the check engine light and VSC and trac are all on due to one or more bad sensors as opposed to any serious trouble. Begin by having your car's computer scanned. AAMCO transmission shops now offer a free scan as do some auto parts stores. Begin with that. Joe

Reset check engine light

The light could be blinking because you haven't driven it enough for it to register. Drive it for awhile and check again. If the light still blinks, you will need to know what code it has.

Honda CRV won't start

civic CRV? what engine? 2003 CRV?

1: check all fuses in both fuse boxes.
2: check for spark. no spark,? ECU (PGMFI) can never inject (logic)
3: no dizzy means DIS, it has COPS, 4 or 6 coil ,
no need to guess. the tests are easy. why attack a relay>?
got spark? x4 or 6x on V6
try to diagnose and not guess. guessing can not only be expensive
but you add bad parts for good. or cause more damage.

here i will show you a video. watch mr. scotty do it stuff

My 2003 impala check engine light is blinking when i go above 30 miles

Hello and welcome, when the check engine light flashes, this means a engine miss that can cause damage to the cat. converter if you keep driving, you will need to have the system scanned for trouble codes, probably has a code P0300. a engine miss can be caused by spark plugs, plug wires, ignition coils, injectors or even a internal engine problem

The "D"[drive] light flashing whilst driving 2003 CRV

your transmission may be low in fluid
s should have been checked when you went in for a service
have it checked by a different mechanic
a lot of mechanics forget or just dont check the level in it
you may be bale to check it your self
look in the servicing you car part in your owners manual
there is a dip stick in your motor bay just like checking your oil
however
most cars have to be checked with in the first 5 seconds of the car running
just check what it says in the owners manual about "maintenance" and follow what it says
let me know if this helps

2003 Honda crv

Yes, as long as the honda isn't doing anything weird, such as strange noises, poor performance, etc, you can drive it to the dealer. They'll check it for engine codes which will tell them what's wrong. Probably an emission component (such as a sensor) isn't working properly. countrycurt0
