Honda civic hi i have a honda cvic 1994 my car wont start it only cranks wat can i do to make it run

    thank you i have one more ? how can i make sure the timing is in the rite place and were can i find the crank sensor

Check for spark, if no spark suspect distributor, coil, igniter or complete distributor, crank sensor etc.......... and also open oil filler cap crank engine see if camshaft is turning (valve moving) is timing belt changed

    the crank sensor is inside the timing belt cover near the crank pulley

My 1994 honda civic dx died while i was driveing it and now it wont start back up the engine turns over but it still wont start

Fuel pump could be issue. Check for spark from plugs and see if you can here you fuel pump prime when you put the ignititon from off to run but not start. Should hum for a few seconds and quit.

may need more info. but if engine is actually cranking, and tune-up parts are good. suspect poss. distributor problem very common
