Poor running,stalling,a bad maf sensor will set a code. lack of power,spark knock/detonation,buck, jerk, hesitation on acceleration.also very hard shifts.

Buy some massair cleanr. Put in a new thermostat and dont change ox sensors..onlyif heatn element is bad..u can cleanum too

Massair flow sensor. Evap leak. First tap the massair flow sensor on the intake hose. if it accelerates when tapping replace it if it doesn't check for an evap leak like the pcv elbow.

this vehicle most likely has a mass air flow sensor it may have got accidently unplugged or the air tube from mass airflow to engine is not connected well or it could be that you have indeed a bad mass air flow sensor they do make a special cleaner that you may want to try before purchasing a mass air flow sensor or purchasing one from salvage yard the symptoms you describe would be created by a bad massair flowsensor

1997 bmw 740i troble codes p0100 & p0116 how do I fix

P0100 is "massair flow sensor circuit malfunction" and P0116 is "coolant temp. sensor circuit range/performance problem. Acceleration/starting issues? Replace both if the answer is yes. Great cars. The last one I drove was up armored.

Will not idile right . i put new egr valve.new purge valve. new spark plugs and wires.speed sensor.oxegen sensor.idile sensor.map sensor.new computer.new tempture sensor. new coil pak.and will not idile...

try a fuel filter. its somthing real simple .look at your massair flow sensor . but i would have it hook up to a code reader or have it anulised by mec. that will pin point your problem better
