The first thing u must do it test it for ignition in the failing condition to see if it is ignition or fuel problem. Simply take a spark plug with you and when it fails,Take a plug wire off and slip it on ur plug resting it against the engine to see if it fires when cranked. if it doesn't suspect crankshaft sensor.
If it turns out to be fuel problem, suspect fuel pump first if it is electric in tank. Hope this helps

SOURCE: 92 honda accord intermittent crank but no start/ tranny issues

I know that early 90's Honda's had problems and in fact a recall on the distributor. Might want to replace the distributor. Inside of the distributor is a part called the igniter which is the ignition module and that is what normally goes out. I cannot remember if you have to replace the whole distributor to get the igniter or if you can just replace the igniter itself. Has been a few years since I have worked on one. hope this helps but if not please contact me. I'm not sure about the drive light flashing thing though, new one on me.

SOURCE: car won't start when it's hot outside

My daughter's 1991 Honda Accord did the same thing. I discovered that the main relay had to be replaced. Apparently the solder used in the original main relay was poor and would actually "soften" in the heat and cause a disconnection. When the cabin temperature dropped, the solder would cool and reconnect. Anyway, replacing the main relay worked. My daughter's car has not had this problem since.

SOURCE: 1992 Honda accord wont start and stay running.

MAKE YOU HEAR FUEL PUMP RUNNING WHEN TURN ON IGNITION KEY. IF NOT CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.IF YOU HEAR PUMP RUNNING. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE.IT SHOULD 36 TO 40 PSI.IF NOT REPLACE FUEL FILTER.IF FUEL PRESSURE IS STILL LOW FUEL PUMP IS BAD.

Car won't start. It turns over but won't start. Wait 10-15 minutes and it starts.1998 Honda Accord EX

There is a possibility of a condition called "Vapor Lock" in which on hot temperatures, air bubbles form inside the fuel line, and dont allow the fuel to reach the injectors. One the line cools down, the vapor goes away, and car starts uneventfully. Have the fuel lines checked for leaks or abnormalities. The other possibility is that the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) relay or computer unit is acting up. These units usually start to fail when hot, and work normally after the engine compartment cools down.

1992 honda accord starts fine then shuts off going down the road after it heats up a little then wont start back up until 15 or 20 minutes has gone by. I have replaced the fuel modular thermostat and reset...

There are 9 most probable causes of what you describe as your car troubles, one of which (thermostat) you seem to have discounted as the cause of the problem. Read this handy diagnostic article to assess whether the remaining 8 probable causes apply to your situation:

91 Accord Car will initially start then when driving it will die sometimes starts right away sometimes 10 or 20 minutes later but has gotten more frequent about dying and taking longer to start

I have a 1991 honda accord dx that had the same problem. while driving it would just completely shut down. after about 5 minutes it start and run for a while then shut down again getting more frequently. There was a recall on the ignition control module (ignitor) which is in the distributor. call your local honda dealer with your vin # and will tell you if yours was replaced. If not I bought one from parts store for $60 or you could take a chance and buy one from a junk yard. I bought the whole distributor for $20 as a back up.

1992 accord running hot

Check the cooling fan switch and the temperature control switch, they should be turning your fan on when the engine temp begins to rise (as when u stop and gauge starts to climb).
