No idea about the "hondata k pro ecu" but stock ecu 6 short blinks means code = "6" meaning an issue with the ETC. I'm currently working on the same code after driving it overheated due to a dead thermostat (which I replaced.) I've come across statements that to clear the ECU code and see if it comes back on driving. You don't say if you've any other symptoms and I think that would be helpful in the diagnosis. Cheers.

SOURCE: Check engine light is on and ECU blings 12 times.

you use the button that resets your trip odometer to reset the maintenance light.

with the key in the ignition but not turned on, hold the trip reset button in with one hand. then, while holding the button in, turn the ignition key to the ON position so that the lights on the dash come on.

continue to hold the reset button in and watch the maintenance light. it will take about 15 seconds for the light to go out

when the light goes out, turn the ignition key OFF and then release the trip reset button.

your light will be reset and come on in about another 5000 miles to remind you of the next service

hope that helps

SOURCE: 1991 honda civc DX, what does twenty short blinks on the ECU mean. car is idling fast while cold and warm. what does that mean?

1991 will have a throttle cable for this car i would have thought ,just not familar with this what is obviously a american market model and possibly even a californian spec so this is way out of this europeon mechanics league .But if it does have a idle control valve then its possible that the ECU is faulty try measuring the voltage going to the valve ,4 wires and it reverses the current to go backwards or forewards ,so two wires go one way and the other two make it go the other way ,use a multi meter and see what you get ,also check the brake servo as if a diaphragm leak the it will **** in air making it idle high

Check engine light stays on for ten second then blinks six times then go'se off, what code does that mean?

Sorry I usually don't try to help diagnose problems with modifieds because there are too many issues that cause probs with swaps. First off the 94 was not obd2. Now you have an obd2 engine/harness installed??? With the stock 94 civic the code 6 would be for the ECT. (Coolant temp sensor) but with your configuration?? Good luck.

Srs light stays on on my Honda civic

The most likely possibility is the connector for the airbag is not on securely. Check the connector first. But if the connector is connected properly then you will have to get the error codes to locate the exact problem for SRS light ON.
There is a way to pull the codes from the SRS control unit without a scan tool.
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF , and wait for ten seconds. Then connect the SCS service connector to the service check connector (2P). If you do not wait ten seconds, the SRS unit will not be completely reset and will not output DTCs.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II). The SRS indicator light comes on for about six seconds and goes off. Then it will indicate the DTC:
· The DTC consists of a main code and a sub-code.
· Including the most recent problem, up to three different malfunctions can be indicated.
· In case of a continuous failure, the DTC will be indicated repeatedly.
· In case of an intermittent failure, the SRS indicator light will indicate the DTC one time, and then it will stay on.
· If both a continuous and an intermittent failure occur, both DTCs will be indicated as continuous failures.
· In case the system is normal (no DTC), the SRS indicator light will stay on.
3. Read the DTC.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and wait for ten seconds. Then disconnect the SCS service connector from the service check connector (2P).
The SCS Service Tool is nothing more than a jumper wire.
Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Check engine light blinking 10 times

The pcm (powertrain control module ) is telling you it has a set code in the memory. Take the car to a parts place like (auto zone ) and have them to run a scam on the pcm for a trouble code. Once you have done that then you will be able to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

Maintenance Required light

The light needs to be reset. Usually after an oil change they will reset it for you. Directions for doing yourself>>> turn off the engine, press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel then turn the ignition switch on. Hold the button until the indicator resets (approximately ten seconds). Directions from your Honda manual. Hope this helps!
