Coat hanger got the inside button in unlock position, pulled inside handle outward (with hanger) - still won't open door. Used "slim jim" on both drivers/pass doors - still won't unlock. Key opened trunk but couldn't get seat pushed down to get in that way. Any suggestions would be helpful. Don't want to have to break a window.
I had same problem with a mitsubishi fto , tried the coat hanger thing got the passengers door unlocked but it still wouldnt open, rang the automobile association, he came along and did the same as i did to passengers door , to the drivers door and presto he was in,so maybe the drivers door has the master control, or ring a dealer for that make and model they might be able to put you on the right path.
Try flipping the key over
If you can't open it with a slim jim you'll have to break a window
Why wnt the key work i the door? Dnt break the window .. If key wnt turn the lock spray heavily with brare or parts ceaner in the lock, keep wigling until it frees up and repeat. A common prolem in toyota camrys.
2 ways to open you car door lock. GOOGLE: tennis ball with small hole to open door locked car
Two truck drivers, also auto clubs like CAA, etc. have small square pouch which slides into groove between door jam
This pouch can inflate to spread the door open enough to lift the door lock open....inflatable pouch about 3 inches by five inches and it worked for me when the car door was frozen shut a few winters back - The tennis ball method should be on youtube - good luck

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!! pull top of door out with your fingers and wedge something in the gap. doesnt have to be a huge gap just enough to get a hanger or whatever you choose to use. if it has lock button you can directly push with hanger or whatever. if no button you can bend a hook on hanger and snag door lock and pull open. good luck!! BE CAREFUL, DO NOT PULL DOOR TO FAR. JUST ENOUGH AS NEEDED. let me know how it goes!!!
Instructions
Straighten out the metal coat hanger and bend one end of the hanger into
a hook shape. Make the hook about one inch.
Place the end of the metal coat hanger with the hook on it between the
window and the frame. Place the hanger 1/2 an inch behind the door handle
toward the the edge of the door closest to the rear door.
Push the hanger down about two feet into the door frame. Pull up on the
hanger until you feel the hook catch onto the metal arm inside the door frame
that controls the lock. You may have to try a few times before the hook catches
the metal arm.
Pull up on the hanger once the hook has connected to the metal arm until
the door lock unlocks. The lock handle on the inside of the car will move once
you have connected the hook to the metal arm that controls the door lock.
