Question edited for clarity and the correct name of the maker which is written on the rear of the trunk! :>D
Question moved from Heating and Cooling to the correct Vehicle category of Mitsubishi Eclipse.
I WOULD LET THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE RADIO BECAUSE BY IT BEING PART OF THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM.IF YOU DO IT YOUR SELF YOU PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE NO START PROBLEMS.THE PCM WILL GO IN THEFT MODE THINKING SOMEBODY TRYING TO STEAL RADIO OR CAR.IF DEALERSHIP FIX THEY PUT IN NEW RADIO THEN REPROGRAM IT.
Sounds like the battery is the problem. It's losing power buy a poor connection and the car's computer is trying to reset itself. Replace the battery and the cables.
They change the radio stations and tracks on the CD, and volume. If you don't have the default stereo installed, then the wires probably aren't hooked up properly to the new radio, and the buttons probably don't work.
