SOURCE: 1994 geo tracker fuel problem

The fuel pump has 2 sources of power, when you crank the engine power to the pump is supplied through the cranking circuit of the ignition switch, after it starts the power comes from the run circuit, you most likely have an issue with the ignition switch.

Engine code 14 ignition signal and code 26 rich fuel mixture detected on a 94 geo prizm. i checked spark plugs, wires, replaced distributor cap, and fuel filter. where do i go from here?

I would start by replacing the primary ignition system, cap, rotors, wires, you can't just check these items they could be defective where you are unable to see.a rich condition can be caused by a mis fire from a wire,a bad tps,or 02 sensor, but I would always start with the basics and not overlook them,if you need any more help let me know.

Geo died no fire dont know anything about cars.

timing belt would be my guess. have had that happen to me on 2 different geo's. Not a real hard item to replace, and the price of the belt and new seal is around $25.00, But labor can run a couple hudred.

1994 tracker

You may have an issue with the fuel pump crank circuit, check the ignition switch, I think that may be the problem

Replace Fuel Filter

For a 1994 Geo Prism with the 1.6L, the fuel filter is located on the drivers side of the fire wall. it is directly below the brake master cylinder bolted to a black bracket. You will need a 14mm wrench to disconnect the fuel line from underneath by the drivers front wheel, a 17mm to remove upper fuel line, and a 10mm to remove the fuel filter from the bracket by the fire wall on the drivers side. i have found it to be much easier to attach the lower fuel line before attaching any other bolts/lines.
