If your battery is dead after 3 days it's probably getting stuffed or else you left something on. Anyway jump starting should work regardless. How good are your jumper leads? You need a pretty heavy set to start a car not those skinny things you get at super cheap auto stores. Hook them up and start car you're jumping off and run it at a high idle for about 5 min then try and start your car. That should put a base charge into your battery and it should go. If not buy a new battery.
Dealer should have been able to figure this one out!
Best bet to trouble shoot is next time it is going to sit for a couple of days disconnect the battery. After the couple of days pass hook up the battery and if it's dead then the battery isn't holding a charge, if not then something in the vehicle is draining the battery.
If you live in a colder climate weak batteries tend to be more of a problem as temps get colder.
If the battery is more then 3 years old it is a prime suspect.
Even with the wire removed, are you saying it goes dead while driving or just sitting . if it goes dead wile driving then the alternator may not be charging the battery as you drive but if it goes dead while the car sits then there is a draw some where. if you sent me the year make and model with the engine size and also let me know when it goes dead in 1 hour, while driving or car just sitting and i will help you solve the problem. good day
theres a draw somewhere. these are sometimes hard to pinpoint.start by checking that all lights turn off, glovebox underhood light all lights, you will need a meter to meter the draw amps, then with key off doors closed look at the draw amount,.02 to.03 is allowable, start removing fuses and watch if amps drop, one fuse at atime, start with this to try and pin down a location of the draw.hope this helps.
