Car will "sputter" or hesitate or (misfire?) a quick second, when accelerating, after going 45 mph or higher. Never can tell when it will happen. Service recently. oil change, air filter, etc. still happens
SOURCE: 94 Fleetwood hesitates and dies going up a hill (12 - 15 mph)
Sounds like A MAP sensor or a bad fuel Pump. Good Luck
SOURCE: after bout 45min it stops accelerating
Change your dist. cap heat exspanion crack{ crack closed when cool opens when hot, jumps sparks
inside the cap. remember your fireing order write it down see ya.

try cleaning the inside of the MAF sensor and do the following procedure as well.
Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls at stops and low erratic idle speed and rough idle, it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

check spark plug and wire condition, try servicing injectors and check fuel preasure regulator
SOURCE: car accelerates to about 35 mph and doesnt go any faster
mine does the same thing. im thinking O2 sensor, or something in the fuel line like the ful filter or sumthin. i dont know much about cars, but this is what ive been told. try some octane booster for a temporary fix, they have some NOS brand octane booster at O' reilleys that boost the octane 60 points, its not street leagal, but whos gonna know? lol
