The wheel bearing is probably pressed on..you should be able to rent a hub press from your local advanced auto parts or auto zone.

I took the ball bearings out cause the case was broke now i cant get everything back together and to get the tire on so i can drive what should i do?

I assume you are talking about a wheel bearing. The ball bearings are usually part of a sealed bearing unit. If that is so, you'll have to get a whole new bearing cartridge, pull out the race (part of the shell) from the old one, and set the new bearing back in. Is this a front or rear wheel? Is the "case" the axle housing, or just the bearing shell?

If your problem is just holding ball or roller bearings in place for re-assembly in a non-cartridge bearing, use the old bicycle mechanic's trick: load up the bearing race with grease, stick the bearings into the grease, then assemble the journal/axle.

I have a 1994 GMC K1500 Sierra :5.7L 350CI V8 and I have a worn front wheel bearing and I took the hub off and saw that the inner bearing is in peices, Now I cant find where to find the bearing,, All I can...

the bearing hub is a pre-assembled unit it has to be pressed together and the bearings have to be preloaded that is why you can only buy the hub assy. and it a whole lot easier to replace then the old 4X4 ft. wheel bearings.HAVE FUN

Is it better to change the whole wheel bearing hub if the wheel bearings are shot on a 1998 Ford aspire ?

I cant say it is better but much easier to do it that way if you dont have proper tools to pull the bearing off of the old hub

Ok so i have a 1998 1hyundai elantra and i was switching the front pessange wheel bearing but i cant get the old one out. The whole bearing isnt in the housing its just the outside edge, any ideas on how...

The wheel bearing on that one is pressed in. You will need to pull the knuckle and bring it to a machine shop or auto repair shop to have the old bearing pressed out and the new bearing pressed in.

Rear wheel bearing hub replacement on a 2002 pontiac grand prix

It is a tight fit, a few wacks with a hammer should loosen it. Hit on the back side of the flange where the wheel mounts, try to drive it away from the car, after making sure you have removed all the bolts.

Diagram of front hub assembly for 1994 mercury sable.

Best solution to your problem is going ot the junk yard asking them for a left front knuckle. They will charge you about the same price for all this stuff as the auto parts store will charge you for a wheel bearing. After you have this knuckle you will be able to take a few things off of it and be able to put it on with only remvoing like 3-5 bolts.
