2003 sonoma shuts down when MAP sensor is plugged in

Working on 2003 GMC Sonoma Truck, Changed out the Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter, Also Changed out the IAC Valve, and the MAP sensor, Truck has hard starts but shuts down, unplugged the MAP Sensor and the truck idles fine, re-plug the MAP Sensor and the truck shuts down, what is the problem?

check the coil. maybe the gas fillter is pluged.maybe bad spark pulg wires. maybe wrong fireing order.maybe bad gas pump.

SOURCE: Truck getting too much gas

Did you check sensors such as crank senors? cam sensor? knock sensor? or mass air flow? Could all be causing it to get to much fuel. Just had same problem on 1997 Chevy Lumina

check over that snorkle good, ive created vaccum leaks there before. look over it all and make sure shits plugged in of coourse. clean throttle and if its still acting up tap on iac and egr valve make sure theyre not stuck

Check for vacumn leaks ! Idle air compensator? clean throttle valve oppenings and air port opening,do you have check engine lite on,check EGR valve? Dirty fuel injectors ,bad pressure regulator?Check fuel pressure at fuel rail,at idle !

Smell of the oil,to see if the fuel injector(spider)is leaking into the crank case,if so,the intake will have to be removed to repair the problem,oh,and change the oil.

POOR GAS MILEAGE

Have you changed the fuel filter? I know it sounds weird but a plugged filter will make a truck use more gas. The computer tries to compensate for less fuel by commanding the injectors to open longer. Also a plugged filter will cause excess back pressure on the fuel pump making it loud.. Good Luck.

When was the last time the fuel filter was chg.? If thats not an issue best to get a fuel pressure test.
