Wont start
Old post but im flooding geo posts
so other can search and find answers for this rare old car,
there is no switch
only a relay , actually 2 relays.
one is fuel realy in green socket below ECU and
other is ecu mAIN, next to above in black sockete
if either fails, car will not start
they are same p/n so can be swapped.
if CEL glows in cluster key on, main is ok
are FI and IG coil fues good at left top knee?
no start, just for this car alone.

IF THE PINK WIRE GOES TO 11 TO 12 VDC CRANIING
ITS NOT THE RELAY
IF NOT NEAR 11V, THE ECU IS BAD OR IT HAS NO POWER.
FUSES BAD TOPS LIST
THE FI FUSE MUST BE GOOD
IF THE IG COIL FUSES IS BAD THE ECU IS DEAD, OFF LINE.
ecu is above left knee,
ecu is behind, leftfrontspeaker
use a voltmeter and DO not hot wire, the FP relay socket, or blow up the ECU
fixed many, who did, silly for me to have to. so there you go.
use a voltmeter
there are 4 connectors.
what id do is check fuel pressure with my $20 tool, and if in spec all this above is moot. see?
if pressure is low,FPR can be bad,if too high FPR can be bad.
if in spec, moot.
if pressure is 0 psi or low
i check voltage to pump at all 4 connetors
2 door or 4?
we check voltage first at the left rear tail light, connector, pink wire
if 0v or move
forward from there
if ok, 11volts cranking, we go to bumper connector if ok to pump connector
if thats ok the pump is dead
is this hard, simple voltage testing.
its just a 12vdc brush motor
and draws up to 4 amps max if more its bad.
