Assuming it is not anti-freeze, there is typically a drain tube area on the passenger side near the windshield but under the hood that tends to clog up with leaves, dirt and other gunk. Clear out the drain tube and the problem should stop as the water will no longer back up.

1997 burick centry custom floors stay wet

its more likely to be the drain hole for the shuttle, were the heater gets it air feed from there will be a drain for the water to get out, can get blocked with leaves etc, you may need to get your hand down there and pull out the rubbish and poke your finger in the hole to push the debris out.

Rainwater on floor

it may not be rain water ..if its in the right front floor board ..check for leaks in and around the heater core or the hoses that supply the the heater core with water [coolant] ..also keep a close eye on the amount of water [coolant] that is in your radiator..if its coming up low each time you have checked it ..its almost a sure bet that is where your water [coolant ] is being lost..or going [into your floor board] so your thinking it rainwater..

WATER IS LEAKING INTO RIGHT FRONT FLOOR

I had the same problem on my 98 Century. Turned out when I had my oil changed, they dislodged a rubber "gasket" ( a foot long piece of rubber ) mounted on the firewall seam right in front of the passenger compartment air filter box under the passenger side windsheld wiper. It diverts water from the windshield so it doesn't flow into the fan blower box and onto the floor. It's a crappy design. If it's not in place all the water runs into the car. I had two inches of water on the floor, had to pull up and wring out the soundproofing, hit it with a hair dryer ( took two days to dry ), same for the rug. Put some silicone in the slot on the bottom of the rubber piece and set it on the firewall seam. You should see where it was originally. Good luck.

My passenger side floor is saturated with water when it rains. When I make right turn I hear what seems like water sloshing.

Hello,
If you can smell a little bit of a sweet smell from the water on the passenger side floor, or if it has an oily film to it, you may have a leaking heater core.

They usually leak on the passenger side floor, and that might explain why you hear water sloshing around.

If you can run the engine for about 5 minutes and then turn your heater on. Look under the dash in the area where the dash meets the floor board and see if you can see anything leaking.

I hope this helps you.

2002 Honda Accord Wet Floor

most common problem is the a/c condensor tube is clogged and is under the car and needs to be cleared with compressed air. also the sunroof track has 4 drain tubes and the right front may be clogged or leaking. you can check that by pouring a cup of water down the right front drain tube in the sunroof track and see if water comes out by the right front wheel
