I would first see if you have a service eng lite, If not then I would check air filter and replace if can't see through it looking at a light. next I would change the coolant sensor, this regulates fuel to eng according to temp of engine, also if you haven't changed your thermostat, would be a good idea cause the cars have to run a certain temp for computer to work right. all else fails your Catiylic converter could be plugged ! just some things to check in the order of easiest first. good luck !
you have a misfire on cylinder # 2, check your plugs, if ok swap coils clear eng lite, run vehicle until check eng. lite comes back if code changes to a dirferent cylinder then you have a bad coil, if same code repeats then you need an injector, good luck.

Try resetting the computer. Disconnect your battery for 5-10 minutes and reconnect. This should get rid of the light if the gas cap was the problem. If it comes back on take it to an Advanced Auto or Auto zone and get an Engine Diagnostic, they're free. Hope this helps
Try replacing Oxygen sensor (top of exhaust pipe just rear of engine; 22mm ring-spanner job after cutting wires); though normally comes up with Code 1 on the MIL, this is the right bunch of symptoms.
You have a bad gearbox position sensor located on the transmission. When the transmission computer sees the fault in that sensor it goes into a protective mode in your car starts out in second gear that's why it is sluggish. This is a very common failure on that car. The heater issue is not related.
could be an exhaust leak, or a bad gas cap. gas caps have a vent that allows air to escape from the tank safely, if you notice a depressurizing sound when you take the gas cap off it should be replaced, it's possible that the air is building up in the tank and leaking out somewhere it shouldn't be, in which case this is very unsafe so please be careful if you must drive it this way.
