These same lights were coming on in my Nissan. I read that the alarm had something to do with the switch monitoring the break pedal. I found that there are two switches monitoring my pedal. The switches can be adjusted in and out by turning the switch about 30 degrees, slide the switch in or out, then turn it back. One switch causes the break lights to come on and the other does not do anything obvious. I found that if I bounced the break pedal quickly I could cause the alarm to activate. I adjusted the switches until the one that does nothing obvious changes states before the one that turns on the break lights. I tested the break pedal and was unable to cause the alarm.

The alarm came back... This time I moved the swtitches out as far as possible. Then I let the pedal rest aginst the stop. I adjusted both switches back in as far as I could without moving the pedal.

I think a trip to the nissan dealer may be needed. The Slip and VDC sytem is tied into the anti-lock brake system. Could be as simple as a vacuum leak or a bad check valve at the brake booster, or the ABS system could be malfunctioning.

Hi I have a Nissan Maxima 2007 last night my car stalled then the VDC off then slip light came on why did this happen and can I still safely drive my car.

NO, its NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. Your car may loose power in the middle of the intersection and then what? VDC and Slip light may be related to ABS system, please have it check.

2010 nissan rogue is slow accelerating when gas is pressed, VDC light comes on, what is causing this?

When VDC light is on, it means Vehicle Dynamic Control is engaged and it puts resistant on wheels to reduce slipping.
This is the reason to cause slow acceleration. If you have OBD reader, you may find out why VDC is on; otherwise, ask someone has experience on mechanic for consulting.
VDC issue needs to be resolved or you will consume more gas and wear the car faster.

Why did my vdc light come on

VDC this is vehicle dynamic control, It works with the ABS (anti lock brakes) steering angle sensor and Yaw rate sensor. When this light comes on. it is due to a check engine light that has detected a problem with the powertrain,or a ABS fault code,To find the reason a enhance scan tool that communicates with you car is needed

Why did my VDC, slip, ABS and brake lights come on all at the same time while driving? 2005 maxima se

Hi there,

You should first of all check the fuse for the abs under the hood. If that is ok, then get ready to fork out a couple of thousand dollars to fix it. It is probably the abs actuator, due to a speed sensor malfunction. Both will need to be replaced. Don't bother calling Nissan, they will not help with this issue.
