'93 Honda Accrd LX 262000 mi. When I start the car the dome light starts to blink on and off and at the same time the blinker single noise comes on. It's been going on for over a year now. It will go off on it's own, also the blinker noise is a lot louder. I'm also having problems with the windshield wipers that I posted. It all started about the same time.

you have a transmission fault the D4 light blinks to tell you that there is a transmission problem when the light is blinking the transmission computer put the transmission into limp home mode so it will not shift normally and you should try not to drive it very far when it gets to this stage you need to have the transmission codes check to pin point the problem

It sounds like your starter needs cleaned or replaced. The poping noise could be the actuator not engaging right. As for the engine light, it could be just a coincidence.

i have a 92' honda accord lx, it has a problem of the D4 light flashing and the car wouldnt start, but i could wait a few minutes and try again and it would start.
