The Climate Control Display shows nothing on it and none of the buttons do anything. The dials illuminate when the lights are on. I have changed it out for a new one with no change. Where do I look next? Could it be a relay and where would it be located? I checked all the fuses already. The shop manual isn't much help showing where the wires go after the leave the back of the climate control head unit.

Ok it may be that the heater core bypass valve isnt opening. All that valve dose is when you turn the climate control to heat it opens a valve that allows hot coolant from the engine to flow through the heater core. What I would do is check that. It will be on the left side (passange) of your engine bay.You will see two black coolant hoses next to eachother and one will have a black box with a wire that runs to it. Have someone move the climate control from hot to cold to hot back to cold. If you dont see the wire move then you can move it yourself to open the valve.
Let me know if the valve opens or not using the climate control.

Check the dimmer wheel or knob. I do not have the specifics for this model just a general idea. Check fuses first with a test light. Let me know if I can help more. Thanks.

Most likely the thermostat itself is going bad. When they fail, they get stuck open so that the engine doesn't overheat. Problem is, the coolant doesn't stay in the engine long enough to absorb enough heat to adequately heat the climate control air. You'll most likely need a new thermostat. They're inexpensive to buy (on my Audi it's a $13 part) but depending on where it is located, it could be cheap or expensive for labor.
