After changing battery the code was inserted incorrectly. Now it shows ERR. Can anyone assist with a fix?
SOURCE: Radio won't work
Sometimes they'll put the code sticker inside one of the components under the hood of the Pilot, for example, the circuit breaker box in the engine compartment near the passenger side...
SOURCE: car stereo code number
The code normally comes on a separate document as does key codes or numbers. You could check the owner's manual to see if it was noted in there. (A bad idea.) Also check for a sticker inside your glove box. If that doesn't work then you need to remove the radio/CD player from the dash to get it's serial number from the back of it. Take that number with your VIN to a Honda dealer and they should be able to get your security code for you. They will likely ask for your driver's license & registration to prove you own the vehicle.

lol, sorry to laugh but i truly find it amazing how so many of these so called Guru's especially ones that are supposed "Honda Expert" can pass out so much mis-information and waste peoples valuable time!!!! On any HONDA/ACURA car with stock anti-theft radios/navi units require a 5 digit code(radio), 4 digit for navi units. When the vehicle was originally stocked in as new vehicle there were 4 places the prep tech would have made this code available. A card the size of credit card w/ S/N of device and anti theft code on it would have been placed in owners manual, warrenty packet in glove box(which after several different owners is usually lost),2 small sticker with same info would have been placed in hidden spots on car.As standard these places would be either on interior of glove box lid,on interior of center armrest lid(if available) ,or on inside back of one of the underhood fuse/relay box's.It is also noted and reported through Honda corp.,through dealership computer.if any of these card, stickers are unavailable, call dealership with vehicle VIN # & 70% of the time the dealer can retrieve lock code through computer by Vin number.Very last if all these options fail you, remove radio/or Navi unit and write down S/N of unit and either I or any Honda dealer can retrieve anti-theft code from Honda corperation and get you going again! There is absolutely no way of reprogramming a radio to new code to unit, i would like to apologize for some of the mis-leading information put out by so called experts on here,it makes the the rest of us real experts look bad.Let me know if you need the that code looked up by Vin or RADIO s/n, GOOD LUCK AND THANKS JOEL
