It would then be a bad ground. Start at the bulb fixtures cleaning and refastening; look for cracked broken wires as you go. A little multimeter will help.

Head lights and park lights work in front but not on rear and tag light dont work on 96 sierra can you help

Check your Tailight fuse to see if it's blown, if so then start checking for a bad bulb(shorted element) in tailight circuit boards . and also don't forget to check grounds as well, there should be one at rear frame by left (drivers Side) tailight connection/trailer harness connection. hope this helps. do your Brake lights Work ?

My rear brake lights dont work only the cab light, gmc sierra 6 cyl, what can I look for

your rear stop lights are on a different fuse from the cab stop light. Look in the box under the hood for a fuse marked VEH STOP. See diagram below.

Parking brake cables on '99 GMC Sierra

The cable splits under the cab. One side to the right rear-one side to the left. There is an adjustment under there as well to take up any slack.
Have you repalces your rear brake shoes? As they wear out, your parking brake cable wll become slack. You need to see how much pad you have left.

2001 dodge neon tail lights inop

looking at your schematics and , you say tail lights don't work , you didn't mention if front parking lights and license plate lights are working , they all come from the same source , a black /yellow wire , a good clue if front work and rear don't , please advise .if fronts work then you have a open circuit somewhere between junction S118 (near breakout for left headlamp) and rear sockets.
