No Spark I have replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, coil and ASD relay. Still no spark. The fuel pump relay is working. The shop manual says the PCM will energize the ADS and fuel relays once it receives the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors signals. I have replace both of these sensors. I have power at the coil.

Is the PCM controlling the coil's ? You have B+ voltage at the dark green with orange trace wire at the coil pack ? The other two wire's go to the PCM - the PCM has transistor's that supply a ground to those two wire's when signal from crank sensor is seen . Opens an closes to build up voltage an to release a spark . You can test this control with a test light . Video's on youtube.

SOURCE: No Spark

The relay for the fuel pump is working but have you checked that the pump is actually pressurising the system . Next you have power at the coil but is it getting to the spark plugs from the distributor.

Put gas in 95 jeep grand Cherokee while it was sideways on a hill... it wont start now,.. fuel pump works battery is new

95 ZJ JEEP, USA ANSWER NEVER OTHERS.
car fell over to its side? what does sideways mean to the blind?
off road'ing it? OR simply parked with drivers door looking up hill
I can NOT see the car, parked. nor why the hint it matters unless
tank is 1/8" full or less. ???
did you run the tank drY, this can wreck the pump doing that.
the PUMP is fuel cooled and fuel lubricated, so never run one dry.

4.0L inline 6 engine? (I have full shop OEM manual on it (ask)
OR 5.2 LITER? NOT THE DIESEL.
cranks fast but will not start and stay running?
or
starter is dead and will not crank the engine.?
I CAN NOT HEAR YOUR STARTER MOTOR SPIN ! SORRY

pump that make noise vast times can be no good, what matters
IS PRESSURE AT SPEC. (ASK) ( A TOOL)

bingo, and the new BOSCH pump are now silent, Oops tech changes happen.

THE most key factor is fuel pressure never the noise. (devil danged the prime pulse)
first is a good engine the 4.0L only breaks if dropped off a cliff
drove 3 me for over 500k miles. one sold at 300k. 1988 up.
1-engine good
2-spark then must be good to all cylinders not just 1
3-and last fueling can't burn gas , lacking spark. (otto cycle tech)

THINGS TO CHECK ,
ALL FUSES GOOD.
TANK AT LEAST 5 GALLONS FUEL FOR SURE ON HILLS. STEEP
KEY ON, DO THE CLUSTER LAMPS WORK?
DO HEAD LAMPS WORK EVEN KEY OFF? THEY MUST
IF ALL IS DEAD FUSE 12 AND 13 ARE BLOWN
JEEPS HAVE THIS RELAY CALLED ASD
IT IS REALLY SAFETY RELAY TO STOP CRASH AND BURN
IT GOES OFF LINE , WHEN THAT HAPPENS AND KILLS INJECTION DEAD. REGARDLESS OF 20 GALLONS OF FUEL IN THE TANK AND 10 NEW PUMPS.
THE ASD DROP WITH THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TOO
THEY ARE WIRED IN PARALLEL THE 2 RELAY COILS
THE PCM TURNS ON AND IF SPARK FAILS PRIMARY SIDE
IT CUTS FUEL , FULLY AND THEN KILLS SPARK COILS DEAD.
SEEMS ODD THAT BUT IS NOT,
THE SPARK TESTS MUST PASS, OR ALL FUEL AND SPARK COILS ARE DISABLED. VIA ASD.

IF SPARK IS OK
TRY TEST FUEL CALLED INSTANT START IN A SPRAY CAN

Is my asd or fuel pump relay bad?

ASD automatic shut down relay for non FCA owners of cars
the ASD is ECU slave relay the fuel pump can not shut down the pump in fact the opposite is try.
ASD drops mostly if the ECU sees spark loss and this act disables the injectors and the pump to end Crash and burn as seen on TV>
learn how ASD works first or go broke fast.
No engine told or size. and matters for eCU used.
pin 51 ECU shots of ASD , it and ONLY IT
but I told you spark must be good. on all cars made EFI same answer, now you know way too(crash safety)
the red line I made all that goes dead, just one schmatic and wow facts easy out of the SM.
I do not claim to know all ecu ASD relay shut downs, (air bags, none)
but spark tops the list off all EFI cars made, all.

I have a 2002 Chrysler town and country. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, coil pack, plugs and wires but still won't start. any ideas on what to check next?

I saw what you replaced. What testing have done? Generally, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs, if spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. If your missing everything, I'd check for rpm signal. A lot of Chrysler makes and models, the computer has to see proper signal from cam and crank sensors or it won't ground the asd relay. The asd relay supplies voltage to several systems, including ignition coil and fuel injectors. Engine cranking, do you have primary voltage to those two components? Use a test light. Any applicable trouble codes?

My dodge neon 2002 has no power to coil pack

Check to see if there is power to the injectors. They are fed from the same fuse and relay. If there is no fuel pressure than the fuse would be the fist suspect sin the ASD and fuel pump relay are fed off the same fuse. The fuse is fuse 21 in the power distribution center.

If the fuse is good try swapping the ASD relay with another relay in the fuse block that is the same. If you know have spark than replace the ASD relay.

1999 Playmouth 4 cylinder will start after several tries. have new fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, checked ignition coil pack and connections and ASD and fuel pump relays. Everything checks...

I see you replaced the fuel pump , spark plugs an wires , fuel fliter an checked ignition coil pack , Connections ,ASD relay . And everything checks OK ?????? How did you check these thing's ? Testing electrical circuits with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Fuel pressure testing the fuel pump before replacing ? Does the vehicle have spark ? How about hooking up a scan tool that can view engine sensor data .A bad coolant temp sensor could cause hard starting. Did you check the dark blue with yellow trace wire at the PCM connector 2 pin 67 . This is the PCM control side of the ASD relay . Do you know how a relay works ? how to test at the relay base ? where in plugs into.

95 z28 cranks but wont start what do i look for

Items to check out: Battery and battery cables (Load test battery and make sure cables are clean and tight especially the B+ cable off the starter).
Listen to the cranking speed of the starter. Does it sound normal or slow? Depending on what you hear you may want to do a starter current draw test or have a shop do it for you.

If all of the above are a-ok then move onto fuel and ignition checks.
When you put the key into the ignition and turn it to on position do you hear the fuel pump buzz?
No buzzing sound ... you could have either a bad fuel
pump or relay. To test the relay use the shop manual .But you can use a jumper wire to jump the B+ terminal off the relay to the pump motor terminal off the relay and see if the pump runs. Before you do this make sure there is B+ off the relay B+ terminal. If the pump doesn't run, the pump is your problem. To verify the relay works there has got to be B+ going into the relay and coming out of it to juice up the pump. Use a voltmeter to verify this. Good luck

Unscrew a spark plug attach it to its wire and ground its electrode . Crank engine and look for spark. Or use a spark tester.
No spark! Now check plug wires and coil. How? Use shop manual for correct testing procedure .
If no spark is found coming from the coil then check B+ coming from battery to coil and ignition module. And check the ignition module. REMEMBER IF YOUR GETTING SPARK, THERE IS NO NEED TO TEST THE MODULE.
Lastly not likely , ignition switch should not be left out of the equation. Your gonna need the shop manual for that test procedure. Good luck

1995 Ram 1500. Just died? No votage to coil, no spark?

The power supplied to the fuel pump, ignition coil, fuel injectors and parts of the power module is controlled by the logic module through the Automatic Shutdown Relay (ASD):
The ASD relay is closed (allowing power to flow through it) when the ignition is first turned on. If the signal from the ignition reference is lost while the engine is running, the logic module cuts power to the ASD, which in turn removes power from the fuel pump, ignition coil, injectors and those parts of the power module.  This causes the engine to shut down.

Failure of the automatic shutdown relay is often shown as inexplicable stalling or refusal to start. The ASD can be triggered by a broken wire or short in another place, e.g. the fuel pump.  Hope this helps, and did you try to retrieve any DTC codes?? Be glad to help friend.

1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.8 eng won't start

Check primary voltage at ignition coil and fuel injectors, engine cranking, use a test lite, dark green wire with orange tracer. If no voltage, that comes from asd relay. Some makes and models if the computer doesn't see the cam and crank sensor signals, the computer won't ground the relay.
You need to do some testing.
