A/C only blows hot air, but compressor is getting cold. What might be the solution? This is on a 1995 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, 4.9 Liter V8 engine. It seems to have a full "freon" charge, because it will not accept any more refrigerant. {By the way, when the Heater Core (or coil) drained onto the front passenger seat floorboard, I re-routed the water hoses in the engine area to by-pass that part.} If you have solved this problem before, your professional expertise, wisdom and helpful suggestions will be most appreciated. check the compressor efficeincy and output pressor its according to the needs if its not like standerd then compressor need to change .

Touch both heater hoses going to the heater core. They should both be hot. If they are, then the problem is probably a broken or binding blend door or bad blend door actuator. If one hose is hot and the other cold, then the heater core is clogged.
The location of the starter is as per the car engine.If its 4.5 liter then starter is located on front bottom of the engine.And if its 4.6 liter engine then starter is located under the intake manifold.And On the 4.9 liter the starter is located on the bottom side of the engine. ------------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
