Next time it wont start, check for sparks. Might be a bad crankshaft position sensor.

The fuel filter should be changed first.
The engine fuel pressure over night is bleeding down into the fuel tank. I would suggest a tune up . If the condition continues after a tune up. The fuel pump is starting to go. You should then have a mechanic check out the fuel system and have the vehicle diagnose.

My 2000 Chrysler Concorde does the same exact thing. Had the shop put a computer on the car and the oxygen sensor was out of whack but that didn't give them much help on a solution. They think it's the fuel pump, but don't want to work on it until a better lead is found. Did you try anything that worked?

if you just filled it with gas it may be your fuel pump. believe it or not when you fill the tank sometimes the pump goes. turn the ignition to ON without cranking it and with all accesories off. Listen for a whir or humm sound-if you dont hear the sound your pump is not working.
