When I start my car, these lights flash on and off, and gages do not stay on while driving. I had a progressive snapshot in for about a month, and then it stopped working when this other stuff happened. Or it stopped and this stuff happened. I am not sure.

Replace the temp sensor/switch located on the radiator. Don't forget to drain your radiator and use teflon tape on the sensor when installing it. DO NOT over-tighten.

Sounds like your oil pressure sensor may be faulty. Or your oil level is very low. Your engine should idle as low as 650 rpm without your light coming on.

Are your cooling fans working? that will definately be a problem if not working. if they are working shut car off and feel the radiator is it the same temp all over or is it hot in only top or one smaller area. if you do not have same temp feeling on all of radiator your radiator may be plugged.

Try and clean the throttle body. Carbon will gum up on the blade and the vaccume passages, which will cause a surge and stall.
