Last week I noticed my motor ran like the rev limiter was set at 3000RPM when I revved it up to warm up the motor. I replaced the fuel pump three weeks ago. Saturday morning, I woke up to a completly drained battery. I charged it and now car won't start. I have spark, and fuel to the rail. it wil try to start if I put fuel directly into the combustion chamber. I replaced the CPU, CPU fuse, TPS. and car still wont start. Any ideas?

Pull fuse to locks and see if that solves the problem first, does the battery drain over night, could be a bad voltage regulator in alternator.

I know this might be obvious but the obvious is often the problem. Did you replace the coil wire that goes from your coil to the distributor cap? Also, double check to be sure that your wires are connected in the correct order. A little more clarification might help. Does it turn over? Does it just click? When you turn the ignition key then let off does the car clunk or make a wheezing sound?
