Bank one is toward the front of the vehicle. Sounds like the heated oxygen sensors have gone bad. The Oxygen Sensors are located in the exhaust pipe and require a special socket to remove and replace.

SOURCE: P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or

The camshaft sensor is located right above the crankshaft pulley on the passengers side of the front cover of the engine. It will be a 3 pin sensor either gray or black in color. There is a pointer that is attached to the sensor and it is either gold or silver in color. There is also a recall out on this camshaft sensor. If the color of the sensor is black then it should qualify for the recall. If you get in touch with a Ford dealer they should be able to help you with your recall if the sensor is black since it is a safety recall. As far as your exhaust pressure sensor it is located on the front of the engine right by the heater core hose a little to the passengers side of the center of the front of the engine. there will be a tube attached to the bottom of the sensor that goes from it to the front of the exhaust manifold on the very front of the passengers side exhaust manifold.

SOURCE: location of the bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor on a 2001 ford escape

B1 means the sensor is located on the same bank of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. B2 is located on the opposite bank.
S1 means the sensor is located BEFORE the catalytic converter
S2 means the sensor is located AFTER the catalytic converter

You didn't say which engine you have, so I've included the diagrams of both 4 cyl and 6 cyl so you can see the banks

Where is o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1

The oxygen (O2) sensors are located in the exhaust system. There are three O2 sensors and one Catalyst Monitor, one in each of the exhaust headers near each of the front wheels and the third in the common exhaust pipe further back. A special deep socket is available from any parts store to remove the sensors. The socket has a **** down its length to accommodate the sensor wire permanently attached. Simply disconnect the bullet connector and unscrew the sensor.

On 3.0L OHV engines, the oil pressure sensor is located on the left side of the engine block above the flywheel. On 3.0L DOHC engines the sensor is located on the left side of the engine block above the oil filter. On 3.4L DOHC engines the sensor is screwed into the oil filter adapter. Code p 0470 ford aspire how do i fix this ?

p 0470 is "EGR boost sensor" failure. replacement of the sensor without further diagnosis will most likley end with the check engine light still burning brightly. pull the egr valve off of the intake. the bottom port is exhaust pressure. the top runs through the lower and upper intake to just behind the throttle body. chances are the port through the intake is completely plugged with carbon. split the upper and lower intake and clean the egr passages. a good carb and choke cleaner and a stiff wire will break up most of the carbon.
