I have a 2005 chevy tahoe it was broke into and the theives stole my indash dvd player now my tahoe wont start. it appears to have an electrical issue ....HELP

I have fixed many of these with this problem.. I have found the wires from the unit to the screen that pass thru where it folds break. to fix it you have to remove and completely dis-assemble it, which is kind of a pain.... not guaranteed your problem, but the only problem I personally have had from that unit..
sounds like it's a fuse issue even tho the radio works,, my vehicle has a radio fuse and a assessory fuse the controls the lighter and lights on the radio
most likely the drive shell broke in the trans depending where you live should not cost more than a grand to repair parts and labor, please let me know
1st.turn the dvd player on.then use the 'source' button on the left hand side of your steering wheel to find the"R.S.E.' setting on your radio.that's it.
