SOURCE: All of a sudden the driver side window will not roll up.
is it electric windows? if it has electric windows does the passenger window roll up using the switch for it on the passenger door panel? if it works on the passenger door panel and not on the driver's door panel , then your switch on the drivers door panel is bad... replace it.
SOURCE: the driver side power window on a 1998 Olds Aurora won't go down
the problems is most likely right on the switch i had the same problem with my 97 i went to the wrecker bought all the swiches and the door lights from a wreck the swiches failing is common along with the door lights falling apart at cold temps. hope this helps

I had that problem and found that the real problem was that there was too much friction between the window and the frame. I used WD40 on a cloth to rub the black rubber around the frame and now the window goes up and down without a problem.
SOURCE: Window will not roll up
Their is a separate motor for each window. The least expensive fix is to replace the entire track assembly and motor. This is not a big job if you have done it before but it could be if you are not mechanical.
SOURCE: drivers side power window switch does not work
If the other ones work its not a breaker fuse. Since the power for other windows feed through the drivers switch. Try a new or used switch.
