I have a 1997 V6 honda accord, when I turn the key

I have a 1997 V6 honda accord and it wont start. It was OK until i was cleaning inside, sprayed some degreaser around the dash but when i was finished cleaning the car I turned the key the ignition just keeps rolling but it wont fire. How can I correct this ?

Chek the fuses there is usly a fuse box by your left feet if your sitting in the driver site

Crank and start but wont stay on

bad ignition,air flow sensor that keeps leaning out the mix and it stalls,bad iac idle control motor,start with a good tune up.cap rotor,wires plugs air filter and clean the throttle body.some honda cars have bad egr valves and the intake manifold has to come apart because it is plugged up inside with carbon.

Hi
Try to jump start the car.
Put the jump leads on and leave it for 10 mins
that will charge the battery up
then try and start.
Also check the starter motor.

Hi Matt

Follow the( + ) positive lead from the battery, to the starter, check the connections, if all OK, get someone to turn the ignition key to start, and give the starter a tap, on the selenoid, with a small hammer or a metal socket extension.

Blinking maintence light 02 accord

turn the key off, then hold the odometer reset button in, turn key on and keep holding, the light will flash off then on once, keep holding until light stays out, start car and all should be ok

ok - are you washing the engine too?If so you need to spray down all electrical wires with a silicone spray to stopwires from shorting - when were spark plug wires last replaced?

2000 v6 honda accord starting problems

Need to know what type of EGR valave you have (Negative Backpressure , Positive backpressure , Pulse wWdth Modulated or ported. You can use the shop manual and *** will tell you how to Diagnosis it or write me and I will. the diagnosis is pretty simple on any type and the repair is gonna be replacement , cleaning, or bad wiring or ECU problem. keep me posted
