Where is the horn located

The horns are up front just behind the grill. Usually had to find.

Did you use a test lite to see if fuse circuit, hot all the time. Because that module is involved, I can't troubleshoot it from here. Also, my info says airbag and horn button are integrated. That airbag is dangerous. At the horn, yellow wire with lt green tracer is voltage, black wire is ground. You could use jumper wires off the battery for voltage and ground to see if horn will sound, if you try that use an inline fuse.
My info says that central security module is located under the dash, to the left of steering column, The clicking may be coming from the module, I don't know?

The fuse block is located below the dash and mounted to the fire wall. This area is where the brake pedel is located. If you still can't locate the fuse, open the hood and the horn is located behind the grill. Remove the wire from the horn. To fix the problem correctly it's possible that the horn relay is stuck closed which is why the horn blows. A wiring diagram will show the location of the relay. Most relays snap into the holder.

You may have a short circuit in your horn button causing the
fuse to blow when you press the button or in the horn itself.

1. Locate the horn under the hood normally in the front of
the engine compartment.
2. Once you locate the horn, disconnect the wire from the
horn.
3. connect a VOM (Volt Ohm meter) to the horn's wire.
plus(+) side to the wire and negative (-) side to ground
or some metal part on the car.
4, set the VOM to dc voltage and have someone press the
horn button. You should read 12 volts on the VOM, if
not you have a short in the horn button, if you do mread 12 volts
you have a short in the horn. Replace the horn....

That's the horn fuse,you have located it;
I will assume that you have checked for a blown fuse, and that the fuse is good!! If not, check that first!With a test light and a jumper wire, you can locate the problem with little effort!
You can get a test light from any auto supply store, or from Wal-mart! They are only a few dollars and are a very helpful thing to have.

A jumper wire is just a piece of wire, that you can use to run power from one location to another! If you want to be fancy, you can put alligator clips on both ends!

-Start by locating the horns and pulling the wire off of one. Attach your test light to a ground and use the probe (pointed end) to connect to the horn wire.

-Have someone hit the horn button on the steering wheel! If the test light lights, then the horn(s) are bad and will need to be replaced! Just to be sure, take your jump wire and run from the positive battery post to the horn power connector (where you pulled off the wire) and make sure that the horn does not sound with direct power!


-If there is no power to the horn, you will need to check the horn relay to see if it is getting power. If it is the relay is bad! If there is no power to the relay, the problem is in the steering column or steering wheel horn button!


-Most likely the horn or the horn relay is bad!

You can by-pass the horn pad on the steering wheel and install an after-market Horn Button to operate the horn, and you can purchase an after-market Horn Button from most auto part stores for under five dollars, and there are a few different designs that you can choose from.

You will also need enough ground wire to wire the horn button into your vehicle, and most likely a few wire connectors, and that can all be figured out once you actually see the Horn Button that you purchase.

To install the Horn Button:

First locate the turn signal switch wire connector and it should be on the lower right side of the steering column.

Then locate the Horn wire, it will have battery voltage at the wire and when the horn wire is grounded the Horn will operate or sound, and usually GM used a Black wire with an Orange stripe for the Horn wire at the vehicle wire connector for the turn signal switch from the vehicle wire harness, and the wire usually changed to a solid Black wire on the wire connector from the turn signal switch. However that is not always the case, and the wires should be tested to be certain of the Horn wire.

You can connect a test wire to a good ground and quickly make contact with the wire that you are testing and when the Horn sounds then you have found the right wire. (make contact for only a second and do not ground the wires that you are testing for more than a second or you could blow a fuse)

Once you have successfully located the Horn wire, then on the wire connector from the turn signal switch, cut the horn wire about three inches from the wire connector for the turn signal switch. (or at least enough to connect a wire to the cut Horn wire from the turn signal wire connector)

The rest is simple, you just connect one of the wires from the Horn Button to the cut wire from the turn signal wire connector, and then connect the other wire from the Horn Button to a good ground, and then test the operation of the Horn Button, and if the horn is working with the new Horn Button then mount the Horn Button where you want it to be and the job is complete, and you should then have a fully functional horn again.

I have made you a wire diagram to help assist you, but it is only for a referencre and the wire colors might not match, so be sure that you actually test the wires to find the actual wire for the horn. Let me know if you require any further assisance.

If your horn isn't working and it isn't the horn itself the next thing to check is the horn wire in the steering wheel under the air bag. The little clip breaks off in time and the horn wire pops out. To repair you can remove the wheel and replace the part but I usually grind in a new notch in the old plastic and re attach the wire and it will work again.
Test the horn itself first. Just remove the connection to the horn and attach 2 wires to a live battery and tough the 2 sides of the contacts on the horn. If it blows the horn is good. If not replace the horn before you go any further.
