your caliers are locked on the rotor this is usually caused by air in the brake lines bleed the brakes starting from passenger rear driver rear passenger front then driver front bleed until you have a steady stream of fluid you can buy a one man bleeding kit from you r local auto parts store. i just took care of the same problem on my brother in laws mazda after same repairs!
hi all have an audi a4 convertible 06 plate just cleaned it only to find wet carpet drivers side bulled back carpet and found about an inch of water heeelllppp
This sound is coming from your strut. Sometimes they will get water in the seals, or dirt, and they will start creaking exactly as you describe. This isn't a big problem unless you can't live with it, and if this is the case, just replace the strut on that side. When the car bounces when you press on that side, then you need to worry about that strut, but otherwise, it's ok.
drill a hole through the floor as a quick fix ,if it gets in let it out ,then check for the leak ,try under the firewall where the AC drain pipe is ,it could be the same pipe for drain water coming in from air intake vents
sounds like the air flow control sensor ,as for clunking ??this could be anything from loose wheel nuts to a shock absorber bush ?? and anything in between
Drain fluid with drain plug on bottom of pan.Remove pan and change filter. Reinstall pan with new gasket torque to factory spec.Have car on level ground.Remove fill plug on side of pan.Install new fluid with pump and hose. You can use old gear oil bottle and hose.Fill to bottom of fill hole. Put foot on brake with car running shift though all gears.Go back to fill plug and top off till it runs out hole. This should do it.
Ok you have either one of two main problems with it.
1. does it go in one direction only then jams the other way?
Ans. the plastic clips that hold the window to the lifting rail can break.
these can be replaced by removing the door trim & replacing though you will need torx type tools.
2. As with vw golfs & passets the motors pack up or even the wire can break on some of them.
Ans. replace the motor unit in the door or the cable & rail.
3. It is heardly heard tell of but the only other problem is that one of the wires in the hinge area to the door has broken.
4. we have had this one a few times but this would also include the interior lights & central locking not working as well as the windows.
The central convenience unit under the passenger foot well can go wonky & needs to be replaced, usually caused by water coming in through the heaters air filter when the water is trapped in the front of the car ( caused by rotten leaves stuck in the drain points & also happens to the A6 models )
