My power windows on my 300te don't work, i bought it like this and also the fuse for my stereo just sizzles and blows up--i also need a diagram as to where the relays are supposed to go in order, i think the last person who had it switched them around like musical chairs, ugggh!

Are there fuses under hood causing this? Without looking at wiring diagrams to see what all is involved in the power window electrical circuit would be guessing as to what the problem is . An looking at a wiring diagram I see a circuit breaker supply's B+ voltage for the window's . Circuit breakers very rarely go bad . I would look for broken wire's inside the rubber flex boot from the body to the door. Or maybe the power window control module is bad . If you know nothing of automotive electrical systems , wiring diagram's ,an how to test with a DMM - digital multi-meter ,your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop .

Could be to late. Could have blow the BCM. Unhook the radio and see if the other things start working. If they do, your lucky. Then find some to hook up the radio. I can install radios, but I use a volt /ohm meter. You can not trust the diagrams the radios come with. Or the diagrams I buy.

None of the windows work ? You say fuses are good , which fuses ? Did you pull them all out an look at them ? Did you check for power - battery voltage at the window switches ? There is a driver door module involved !

• Supply open or shorted.
• Ground open.
• Window regulator control switch inoperative.
• Circuits open or shorted.
• Window regulator electric drive inoperative.
• Driver door module.

• PERFORM driver door module self test. Service DTCs. If no DTCs are retrieved, GO to Pinpoint Test C .

If you don't know electrical circuit testing suggest you take to a AES certified repair shop ! If you plan to do this anyway your going to need a wiring diagram , wiring harness layout , volt ohm meter !

you have a dead short hopefully in an easy place to find it-start with the power windows unplug the main switch for the windows and see if it still blows the fuse-next check the tailamps,unplug them stick a fuse in and if its still blowing the fuselastly-hardest to get to -unplug ths stereo-hope you find your solution-cheers Denny

You need to see a wiring diagram to see how the ignition switch allows or sends power to that 30 amp fuse. The switch may turn on a relay (maybe the ignition relay) that sends power to the fuse panel. Or the run wire out of the switch may itself turn power on at the fuses. You may have a loose connection behind the fuse panel.
Get a test light, pull the fuse, and check for power at the fuse terminals, with key on. One terminal for the fuse should have power. If not, power is lost between the ignition switch and that fuse. If it does have power, and windows still don't work, check the wire from fuse panel to the master switch-loose or poor connections, maybe a partially broken wire. If it looks good, check the ground wire for the windows. The ground wire originates at the master switch and will go back into the cabin to a nearby ground, possibly behind the left kick panel. If still no help, someone may need a volt- ohmmeter to start checking continuity of wires, voltage drops, etc.

Under system click on lighting , subsystem click parking lights . Do the stop lamps work ? Turn signals etc.... Which fuse blows ? Also check fuse box diagram under power distribution ,fuse box .to see what all that fuse powers

Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. Go to a local repair shop that has a Data Base
& have them print what you need

Check all fuses,don't need a diagram for that

If any window works,it won't be the fuse

If the fuse is blown,replacing it won't fix anything
It will blow again,

So,you will need to check switches first,then remove
the door panel to access the window motor or
window regulator.

The location for the circuit breaker is in the fuse box under your hood number 601. Its a 30a CB.
