1994 Cadillac De Ville acts like vaporlock

I have a 1994 Cadillac De Ville that is acting like a vaporlock problem. I know how to fix this problem on older vehicles (an old wooden clothes pin)! This may not be the problem but that is what it is acting like. When you are going down the road doing the speed limit (not beating on it or anything) and it stalls. Go to push on the gas and she wants to die. Pull your foot off the gas it will idle, to an extent. Put it in neutral to coast and it will die. Let it sit for a few minutes and it will start back up. Few miles later, it will do this all over again.
