Doors locked no power on 2004 trailblazer, door will not unlock with key as if there is nothing inside where key opens door, just back and forth ,tried unlocking from outside thru window but no power so wont unlock what can I do??trying to open hood from outside to disconnect battery but no luck.. what can I do??

Sounds like you have a wiring problem to your liftgate. Check the wires where they come out of the body, and go into the liftgate. If they are good, check fuses, or possibly a module.

At first look, I would have guessed that your battery in the door opener was dead, but that is not the case. I suggest driving to a nearby Chevy dealer and ask one of the salesman if he/she can help. They have always been helpful to me. If not try another one as they are in business to sell not only cars, but service also. They will be your best bet to fixing it. :D

you could use some lithium grease and spray it in the general area of the latch and hope it lubes the latch enough to loosen it to open. but it will cause a mess spraying it
