Blower motor does not work. The motor itself is good. I also connect a brand new motor and it didn't work. I took the car to the local GM dealer and they diagnose the problem as broken wire among the harness behing the gloce box. They charge me $300. and fix the problem. One week later the motor does not work. I don't know if I can trust anyone again with my money when the problem reoccur. Where do I start since I am a bit of handy person when It comes to car repair.
Take back to th GM dealer as they must guarentee there work for 12 month's

A broken/burned motor winding will do exactly this. If you measure it when cold it will look good. The broken/burned winding will only open from heat expansion.

Disconnect connector at blower under pass side of dash.Check for power & ground with the blower switch in the #4 speed (High).Most Likely a blower motor if all 4 speeds are out.If high works but no other speeds,you need a blower resistor.Blower easy to change 3 screws & one connector.hope this helps

it could be something more simple than that. Try replacing the speed module 1 and see if that doesn't fix the problem.

my 2003 l200 did the same thing...ended up being a leak or hole in the ac line.
