You have a defective wheel bearing most likely, the noise sounds correct for that problem. have a shop drive it before you replace anything to confirm my guess.
most likely if its a hum it could be tires , if its a roar it could be the drive train
support the vehicle on jack stands , start the engine , put in drive and let it idle, if noise is gone ...its the tires if not check the drive train ...start with fluid levels
Without more information it is hard to tell. Is the humming noise variable depending on the speed that you are driving or constant? Could be ground, radio, pulley, compressor noises hard tell.
the only thing i can think of as a problem would be brake pad quality. i would get some from the dealer and fit them. if there is chatter going on it can also be caused by low quality rotors or a bad maching job. have them inspected for integrity.
By the sound of what your saying i think the easiest and cheapest thing is to check the driveshaft. Besure to check the uni's. You may not see any problem with it if this is the case remove it and check the yoke of the gearbox & diff if these are ok take the driveshaft in in the shop to be rebalanced.
What kind of noise? Is it a humming noise that gets louder as the road speed increases? If so, it's a wheel bearing - A4s eat wheel bearings like popcorn.
Could be a transmission issue. Did you hit any objects while driving ? Have you performed a visual inspection under your vehicle ? Have you checked to see if you have any loose vacuum hoses ? Any codes in your engine control module or transmission control module ?
