Wiring peugeot 405 mulltipoint marelli 1.6cc. i need wiring diagrams for cooling fans

a serp belt layout is what you require
is this your vehicles engine... if so
the tensioner needs to be moved and held so you can get the belt on

check the coolant level mate if this is ok then you probably have a relay fault.
these are located next to the cooling fan behind bumper and are prone to play up calling all sortsof problems.
you will need to replace both the relays and the plugs.

if you mean the one thay controls the cooling fan then there is 2 of them located at the front of the car next to the cooling fan. these are probably behind a cover and are green in colour and have 5 pins and the wiring usually corrodes where it goes in to the plugs

the problem may be with the 2 relays between the cooling fans the plug conectors corrode and damage the relays
recomend you replace connectors and relays

Try the cooling fan switch, it looks like a large brass nut with wires on it on the thermostat housing or radiator.
To test, pull off the wires and connect together, turn on ignition and the fans should cut in.
If they don't it could be the relay, fuse or broken wire.
The switch is easy to replace, unscrew and rescrew in the new one. Connect the wires, not important which way the wires go, and refill coolant.

Hmm, perhaps it is time for a noisy solution.

Get a 30 amp relay and wire the fans via directly to the battery via that relay. Of course, disconnecting them from where that are wired into the vehicle now.

For the fan control to the relay, wire something that is (+) when the ignition is in the 'run' position.

This, of course, is the quick n dirty fix. While this will work, you have an always on, noisy solution, and it will take quite some time for your vehicle to warm up in the winter time.

Just an idea should you not be able to correct the factory wiring, of which I have no idea.

there is a sensor on the radiator that when it becomes faulty can go either way i.e working constant or not working at all. try removing one wire from that sensor, if the fan doesn't come on thats the fault.

Search 'books' for Peugeot 405 (you will find the Haynes Manual). Make sure you choose the right one for your Year & type (Petrol/Diesel) = the wiring diagrams are in the back. Cost is about £20.
