I have a 2002 seville with trouble codes b1004 & b1652 Need help to fix these codes

go google and type in --- fault codes for 1993 cadillac seville--
the first site is cadillac OBD codes -- and if you click on that site you will find a page cadillac pages
page 2 in the middle column there is a section cadillac seville 1993-1995 4.6 L at the bottom of that column
click on it and the fault codes appear
if you right click on the screen , a print section should appear and you can take a snapshot of the screen and any screen page after that so that you can get a hard copy of the fault codes

You need to pay a repair shop to diagnose the codes
& find the problem

This answer covers 1999-2005 Cadillac Deville, Eldorado & Seville.
Example Engine:
2002 Cadillac Seville STS 4.6L SFI DOHC HO 8cyl.

This engine has (2) Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensors: the Upper sensor is CKP sensor B, and the lower sensor is CKP sensor A (this is included for the OBD-II DTC codes - P0385 references Sensor B = upper CKP sensor, whereas P0335 references the lower CKP sensor (sensor A)).

Both crankshaft position sensors are located in the front of the engine just above the oil filter adapter. To access both CKP sensors, jack up vehicle on the passenger side, remove the oil filter, and the oil filter adapter, including the Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch. See illustration.

The ARROW points toward Front of Car.
1. Upper Crankshaft Position Sensor (B).
2. Lower Crankshaft Position Sensor (A)
3. Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch
4. Engine Oil Level switch
The Oil Filter is the can-type object below the oil filter adapter, which includes the EOP switch. Recommend: remove oil filter with an oil filter socket/strap wrench, since it's close to the oil pan.

When I purchased my brand new 2002 Cadillac SLS Seville, I had a problem with the ideling and also the car would lurch forward every time I put it in drive. I had the dealer replace the idiling chip and it fixed my idleing and lurching problem. You could try this and see if it fixes your problem, or check for recalls with this problem.

If your car stalls while ideling - then check the crank sensor.

It is also good if you purchase a scanner and check which codes are registered by the on-board computer and this could save you some money trying to determine the problem.

You need to diagnose the systems that set the codes

The codes are only there so you can look up possible
causes & follow trouble charts to find some problem

Codes have nothing to do with replacing parts, until you
find a problem,component test the parts & they fail a test

Then you test the new parts & system & then road test & look
at all vehicle data again to confirm the fix

Only then do you clear the codes, if they don't go away on their own

Take it to your local Autozone, they will run a free diagnostic test. if new parts are needed for your car buy used parts online to save some money.

throttle postion sensor connct to the throttle body

Check for deteriorated vacum hoses located behind htr & a/c control panel and in the engine compartment.

press and hold the off and temp warmer button on ac controller until  it reads out trouble codes on the display,  that should get you started. 

your car has a PK3 transponder key, you will need a bypass module in order for this remote starter to work, if you can' tfind one send me a message and I will make sure you get one
