i would guess 60 liters...

but the best way to know it is by really driving it with almost empty tank then make a full tank at the gas station and you would know the tank capacity...

check the feed on the back of the alternator (live), then check the engine earth if the truck has been lifted or raised the earth will be poor. try running an earth fron the exhaust studs to a chassis member.

bought new alternator and battery. This fixed the dash lighting up like a christmas tree. Park brake still stays on. However, there is no lights when driving at night in the dash (unable to see speedo, revs etc) and no light to interior light, original clock or anything. Any suggestions????

and be patent. your questions , lack facts.
id love to see that timing belt lamp.. my guess is you are guessing
at ICONS, lost your operators guide? that tells true meaning
seems so.
no country stated

what country>> diff, engines (and fueling ) sold in diffr, countries.

some countries ran carbs then.
which engine,
is it fuel injected , EFI? (-E is EF)

now the Generic answer.
1: low compression on all or 1 cylinders.
2: bad spark or timed wrong, (gas engines)
3: wrong fuel rates, (too much or too little)
too much is misfire, too little is bog.
on diesel too much is black cloud.
too little bogs.
there is a simple test for each, path.

here is the wiki, showing why i must ask the engine. on all cars.
The same 2.4 L four-cylinder (22RE) and 3.0 L V6 (3VZ) engines were available in rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive layouts. The Hilux Surf version for the Japanese market was also available with a range of diesel engines, including a 2.4 L turbodiesel 2L-TE I4 up to 1993, followed by a 3.0 L turbodiesel 1KZ-TE I4. A small number were also made with a normally aspirated 2.8 L diesel 3L I4. A small number were also produced with a 2.0 L 3Y I4 naturally aspirated gasoline engine.
