Same problem here! Did you fix it? If so, how?

After doing some investigation, it came to mind to cut teh wires from the auto and connect them backwards into the mechanism. It worked fine after that. Must be a manufacturing flaw of some sort.

2007 Chrysler Pacifica rear lift gate, non-automatic, won't open from key or button on door.

Based on the information provided, it seems that the issue could be with the actuator or the wiring between the switch and the actuator. The fact that the dash message recognizes the hatch is open when the actuator is in the open position indicates that the sensor is working properly. You may want to check the wiring and connections to ensure that there are no breaks or loose connections. If the wiring appears to be intact, it may be necessary to replace the actuator.

How do I change the rear hatch actuator in a 2007 GMC Acadia

You pull the panel out at the back and you will see the actuator, you basically unplug and take the screws that hold it on and reinstall same way. I would test the circuit to make sure the module is your problem and not a bad ground or power supply. Good luck

Dodge rear hatch

This is a common issue with this make and model. From the inside of the cab, you can loosen the plastic trim on the hatch at the bottom and reach in and locate the rod that connects to the actuator. You should be able to pull that and open the hatch.

I can not get the tailgate to open in 2003 chevy blazer 2dr? It gets power to it because i can hear it when i push the button?

Inside the rear tail gate hatch should be a small access panel. Remove the access panel so you can manually open the rear hatch by grabbing the small metal rod linkage. They put this access panel so if the door motor actuator goes bad you can still open the rear hatch. After you open the rear hatch manually by the linkage rod. Remove the entire inside hatch trim panel so you can see all the inner workings of it and self diagnos. It sound like the electric door motor actuator has gone bad. This is pretty common for any GM product. Hope this hopes.

Problem The rear hatch door will not unlock.

First, on the rear hatch, there is an actuator. On FX, when you close the trunk, it kind of **** the hatch closed all the way. When you press lock on the remote, this same actuator locks it as well.
Now,
1) when you unlock the car from the inside, go back there and press the button to open the hatch door manually, do you here any noises?
2) Close all doors, go back close to the hatch button and using the remote , lock the car and then unlock the car. you should hear a sound from the actuator locking and unlocking the lock on the rear hatch!

If you don't hear this, your actuator is inop.
Next step would be to check the fuses inside the car, on the left bottom driver side, and outside on the battery compartment.
It might be just a fuse.
If all fuses check ok, your actuator is most likely gone! Not ea expensive fix, just time consuming!

NOW, if you can hear the noises, then something is either broken inside the actuator or one of the cables is loose!
Hope that helps.
Also, what year and miles on your fx?

The rear air makes a thumping/clicking sound and doesn't send air; the 3rd row seats won't raise back up or go do for that matter and the rear door hatch handle extends but the door won't open (yes, the...

It has a bad rear temp control actuator. Start digging in the rear hatch for the thump and you will find the actuator. Have you checked fuses for the radio? The radio fuse memory fuse might also control the seat. As for the door, it sounds like a rusted latch. You will have to try to remove hatch panel to get to the latch to lube it or replace it.
