I think this is a boat motor there is a fuse link on the engine if you arked the battery you probably blew the fuse get a multi meter and find the big power wire and check for power at the starter then poke the wire before the fuse if power is there replace the wire the dealer carries it
sounds like your not getting any power from battery at all, who ever replaced the starter didn't connect your cable from battery correctly. one hot cable runs from battery to starter , you can start there, check battery and fuse, in not a mechanic, but I've changed a few starters on Chevy truck, hope this helps, good luck!
24 mins ago - The battery in my lexus gx 470 needed to be replaced it was hooked up wrog and the 140 amp fuse was blown how do i replace the 140 amp ...
The fuse and relay box is located in the engine bay area. Please lift up the cover by pressing front and rear locks, and find the ECTS fuse (10 Amp). Location and diagram of the fuse is printed underside the cover. Remove the fuse, check the fusible link. Replace it with the same rating, if it is blown.
After replacing the fuse, remove the EFI fuse in the same relay box or remove the battery terminal for 10 Sec.
Fix the fuse back to its place or reconnect the battery terminal.
Start the car. It should now perform well.
If the problem persists, retrieve the error code and put it here.
Hope that works.
It
sounds as if your battery may have come to the end of it's life and
needs replacing. You need to get someone, preferably a garage to check
your battery. If the 120 amp fuse is blowing then their could be other electrical faults on the vehicle. Do not replace the fuse without getting the battery and electrics checked out first.

I cannot give you any specifics about your particular vehicle because vital information like year, model and engine size was not included in the question. What I will say however, Is that if the problem with the battery light started with the replacement of the starter, I would look for problems at the starter - like fusable links that did not get hooked back up or something. If any fuses got blown while replacing the starter, it can only be because the first step in starter replacement was not performed by the person replacing the starter. The first step in replacing a starter in ANY vehicle is always "DISCONNECT BATTERY". This keeps things like fuses, fuse links, alternator diodes, computers, etc., safe from accidental damage during the starter replacement.
