SOURCE: can't find exterior temperature gauge in 2008 Lincoln Nav. L

Page 106 from the owner's manual. It says (if equipped), it's in the MESSAGE CENTER. Press the INFO button (you should see 3 buttons INFO, SETUP, RESET, pressing INFO will toggle the odometer display between a number of things like odometer, distance to empty, outside temperature, etc.

Good luck, if you still need help don't hesitate to stop by your local dealer and have them show you.

SOURCE: lincoln navigation dvd

On my '06 Navigator the navigation dvd goes in a slot on the console to the left of the passenger's feet. There's a removable panel.

On a side note... does anyone have a newer dvd for Canada? The one that came with my vehicle is compile for the Quebec (*gasp*) market and is outdated.

SOURCE: my 2003 lincoln navigator check

You need to get the computer scanned and the codes read. You could go to autozone to have the codes read. By your description I'd be willing to bet it has at least a p0300 code which is a random missfire. While it could be many things causing the missfire/sputtering the most likely culprit is spark plugs or the ignition coil as they are known to go bad commonly on those motors.

Unfortunately they aren't exactly a walk in the park to do. Navigators are one of the more difficult vehicles to replace spark plugs on as the cowl overhangs the motor quite a bit.

SOURCE: Lincoln ls 04 check enging light is coming on and wrench light

You will need a OBD2 code reader, that will give you a "trouble code" then that will tell you what direction to look in, for the problem.

My 2008 Lincoln Navigator 4 wd-8 cylinder is showing the wrench on the dashboard and the rear camera is staying on all of the time. What could this be?

You need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to read the codes. If the rear camera is on, it thinks you are in reverse.

Lose steering wheel on a 2008 Lincoln Navigator

Because the vehicle could come apart whilst you are driving and crash, please so do not drive it at all anymore until you have it towed by a tow truck to a repair garage and have it diagnosed.
A car ahead of me had a wheel come loose last week but he did not get hurt.
God bless your efforts.

Wrench light comes on and car loses power. no codes being read

When you say loses power, if you mean it acts like it is turning off, you probably have a bad crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. When these fail they don't always throw a code. They do fail intermittently sometimes, then start working again.

2008 navigator, wrench symbol on dashboard

Several autoparts stores like Autozone, Oreilys and Advance will scan your vehicle for free and tell you what Codes are present. The scanners are different, so the store would need a scanner that has the ability to diagnose the traction control system with the ABS.

The Traction control works with the ABS to limit wheel slip. Intermittent flashing of the Traction light can occur, sometimes the brake pads are worn and do not respond as well as they should. The system counts the RPM of each wheel, applies braking and can interrupt power of the engine.

See what the scan shows.

Wiring got wet now power seats, dome lights, radio, rear ac work intermittently

There is a Technical Service Bulletin which indicates that moisture on or in certain wiring harnesses and electrical components will cause the GEM (Generic Electronic Module) to FAIL. Look up: Gem problem on Navigators.
