My 06 honda element dies in am replaced iacv

tune it up yet? which engine?
stalls hot or cold engine or both?
can you save the stall. by fast right foot action????
  1. easy?
  2. kinda hard?
  3. impossible?????
no need guess; we can diagnose it.

there are lots of causes (50) for but just 4 in physics.
1: bad 12vdc power to EFI. system.
2: lost engine compression, 1 or more cylinders.
3: lost spark to 1 or more cyl.
4: bad fueling, too much or too little.
and other odd causes, EGR stuck open tops that list.

1 part down 49 to go on a guess? really?

  1. Remove the air cleaner bolts (A) and the Air cleaner Housing cover (B).
  2. Remove the air cleaner element (C) from the Air cleaner Housing (D).
  3. Check the air cleaner element for damage or clogging. If there is damage or clogging, replace the air cleaner element. Do not use compressed air to clean the air cleaner element.
  4. Clean and remove any debris from inside the Air Cleaner housing.
  5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Good luck

Hello - my battery died and now my 2005 honda element is asking for a radio code. I have the Vin#5J6YH17635L004104. can you help?

I found that some of the factory codes are 00000, then when the customer buys the car, they can put in their own code.
Look in the owners manual that's in the glove box (if you have one) under radio, and see if it says anything about the code.
If all else fails, the best thing to do is call a honda dealer, maybe they can help.

Where is the air filter located in the 2004 honda element

I just had my battery die from the car sitting 6 days. Battery was dead. Put on 40 amp charge for 30 minutes, then turned key on, off three times. Then key on, foot on brake steady, shift car slowly through each gear until reaching D. Then back to park. Key off and on and start!
